July 1st 2009 .... David White Show ...... Meditation in the garden tonight with Gayle Force

It's not often the wether is perfect for a meditation in my perfumed garden, but today it is. It is also supposed to be the hottest day in the present heat wave. Boy oh boy it was hot enough yesterday. The preperations have been done the seating all out around my established gardens lawn. Blackbirds , along with many other birds are regular visitors and last month at our meeting on Friday evenings several were enjoyed in view on the bird table.

I made it year of the Sunflowers this year and they are now beginning to show colour in the borders. A bit early but maybe the heat has been affecting them too.

This morning at 11am I am a guest on The David Whites Show on BBC Radio Cornwall. Which I am delighted to tell you gives me the chance to talk about the open meditation of tonight.

I have run meditation groups for over 35years and regularly hold a closed circle. Now with so much stress and interest in the paranormal, I felt it was the right time to begin an open circle.

Bring your jumpers just in case but going by last evening I am sure you wont need them.

I am at St.Austell in Cornwall and if you are on holiday or local please feel free to dial my number and let me know of your arrival.

The location is just above the Holmbush. Take the road upwards from Tesco store. More details by phoning, to make it easier.

Cost per person is £5. Starts at 7pm - 9pm. Tea and cake to follow.

Looking forward to seeing you. Love and Light Gayle

WALK AT PORT ELOIT on WEDNESDAY 24TH JUNE 2009

POrt Eliot owner Lady Eliot at Dumauriers day

Lady Eliot kindly gave permission fort he free rambling of people on the estate, with the organised walk for health. It was the local BBC radio station that I had heard about about it from, on the Whats On part of the program.

I noted the information and jotted it in my diary as it was in the week we were having a break.

On the day the sun came out and it was a lot hotter than expected but we drove early to St.Germans to get to Port Eliot in good time. On our arrival we were greeted by several fellow walkers, and the atmosphere was lovely.

Anticipation rose as we began the walk backtracking up the drive we had arrived down and along the first edge of the field.Port Eliot start of walk

Having no idea where we were was indeed part of the fun. Sunhats on we ventured with this happy throng of people. I soon noticed the field beside me had a unusual plant growing in it. On investigation I found it was Lupines as did some of the others and a discussion began on why they were there. Having met the days botanist later in the day it was revealed that the Lupines are a modern day rotation crop that give nitrogen back to the soil. Clever and pretty at the same time.

At a point along the path separated and there was a choice of a shorter walk or longer. Being so hot and wanting to stay in the sunshine we choose the shorter version and went passed a lovely field with a tree in all by itself.Beautiful.

Port Eliot Oak Tree in field

We then saw more Lupin fields, a lovely house in the quiet and then to the right the pond. With drifts of lily plants all in flower it was a scene from the pictures of Monet's  paintings. Which reminded me how I would love to go and see his house and garden.

Port Eliot looking across the lily pond

Port Eliot Lily Pond Port Eliot Lily Pond with leaves enhanced

The sun was really heating up as we walked onwards to the house area , which was to take us up through another quaint little village path to the pub for lunch.

The Eliot public house , owened by St.Austell brewery, has a nice atmosphere and had created a walkers lunch. Feeling ready for something to eat we ordered this. A pasty or pie and salad. Though not really impressed by the cuisine , the beer was fine, but should there have been a bus load the staff would have found difficulty in coping . This was an arranged lunch and the que was way out the door.

Back to the botanist from Plymouth, who was a lovely lady , as was all those who took us around on the day.

This lady was giving a walk around the Port Eliot grounds in the afternoon. Which was a great idea. We were a little early though for the arrangements and wanted to get on with a walk around the river bank. We would try and meet up with her later.

Port Eliot river with St.Germans village

Lovely views down the valley along the estuary, taken from the estate. The views were lovely and the shaded parts only made of more interest as the heat of the day was at it's height.

Burnt Pampas grasses were beginning to bud and the men on their grass cutting machines soared around and around.

Perfumed white roses were unusually in clumps as we ventured towards the house once more. The burnt out tree that looked as though it had been struck by lightening still beat the elements and was most alive.

Port Eliot day with Vince Port Eliot Ancient Tree Port Eliot lily on the pond

Even though you could see right through it's trunk as this picture clearly demonstrates.

Maybe Lady Eliot could fill me in on the happenings of this ancient tree and I wonder how many of her trees are listed on the ancient tree hunt site.

Our last visit here was when we were at the Daphne Du du Maurier festival, book discussion of Justine Picardie. When we enjoyed tea on the lawn outside The Orangey that we were now just passing. As it had rained we had not been able to see the gardens, but we have more than made up for that today.

Maybe our next visit will be the Elephant Fayre, that would be nice.

    REDISCOVERING GRAPHITE PENCILS

    lady with umbrella

    REDISCOVERING THE GRAPHITE PENCIL

I love art and I love writing. To begin with art using the graphite in it's many softness to hardness, giving depth of light and shade to a picture is a journey into the world of graphite. Learning also the shading with maybe a rubber to achieve some of the light angles of the picture,or burnishing some of the after shades into the paper to achieve depth. It is almost like reproducing a black and white photograph without the camera.

I have spent several afternoons or even days working on such art pieces with great satisfaction at their completion. Most recently I saw a wonderful example of such work at a local auction house.

Derwent graphite, 2B, a pencil totally made of graphite is wonderful, for bold drawings, but I  don't stop there, I ventured , with the encouragement of my art teacher and friends to other grades from HB to 9B.

Of course they need to be sharpened at times. You need a good craft blade, which allows you to be in control of the point, and you lose less pencil into the bin. Ordinary everyday pencils that are often 2B are generally quite happy with an everyday pencil sharper, or even a battery run one that is more accurate. My Grandfather taught me , many moons ago about using a blade but of course like most things ,I had forgot until I had a reminder.

The manufactured pencil now covered with varied paints , are a delight to the eye.

A while ago back as far as the 1960's I had collected some of those huge pencils with place names on them  and I have my Grandfathers pencil he used for his bingo nights. They have great big rubber tips on them and now you can buy a sharper that will sharpen them. Over  thirty years later.

Children at play at dusk in Gaotai     Eves Art 002   Pegasus in a egg

For writing I have used pens, biro's, felt tip and roller, you name it I have tried it, but nothing is like a pencil gliding across the paper, with a pause occasionally for sharpening, which gives your brain a rest and your arm while doing so. I am very glad to say , I have rediscovered my pencil friend.

Plus unlike the ink in a pen the pencil, etched onto a lot of surfaces , can remain there for centuries untouched, and as clear as the day it was written. So it is pencils for me, from now on. Oh joy.

Ancient Tree Hunt at Lanhydrock House in Cornwall

During the week before May 27th, I was finishing off some work on the computer and then had a while to look at some of my favourite sites. Somewhere in and amongst, I found a tree day at Lanhydrock in Cornwall, which is just up the road from where I live.

An ancient tree hunt . Some trees are very old and of course we all know that, but how old and how big are they, and what is that growth, or hole or dead branch in relation to the tree. Where are you when you spot your tree. Is it a famous place like Lanhydrock? or is it in your garden or local park or a hedge up the road. Does your tree have a story. I like stories.

My husband and I went along to enjoy the day together. We were both working on the week - end and this was a perfect opportunity to enjoy a day out. So I booked us in. Got the agenda. All over the Internet.

The journey on the day was already promising us good weather and once we found our way to a part of Lanhydrock I had not seen before, we were greeted by some of the organisers.

Tea and coffee with some lovely biscuits, as we had time to meet others who were going to be at the event. People had come from all over England to the event which was most interesting. There were of course some locals but we were out numbered by our visitors.

    Lanhydrock

    Oak Trees at Lanhydrock

We went off into groups or teams as it was put and I happened to be the green team member , the same as when I was at school. Was I the only one to remember that? Loaded with camera, tape measure, compass, and note pad to investigate our tree findings and record them.

Our team was four ladies , two of whom were our host. The other our new friend met on the day  Lyn from Bath but originally from America. The energies from the trees were so lovely and I could not help but talk about how I felt about trees. As long as I can remember I have loved them. I see them as guardians of our planet. I have , when young climbed trees. I have read a book underneath a tree and drawn a picture, and just been.

Photographed them , hugged them, talked to them. meditated under a tree. learnt that they have five eutheric bodies as you approach them , the tree's aura. Trees carry pictures and knowledge of times gone by. Using psychometry I have often felt what era a tree was planted for instance and in what circumstance. If there has been happenings around the tree. From celebrations to the dreadful deed of hanging.

I was only to discover that I had like minded people with me .

    Lanhydrock 1

Standing by these three oak trees, gageing how they got there.

As we trundled down the grass to the Oak tree in the picture above, it looked like two but then when you got to the other side it looked like three. It is  a tree of debate. Is it  a maiden or a pollard? A whole tree or a group?

We decided it was a group of three separate trees and to add to my conclusion as a medium I was picking up three young people who were running away from the land and they purposely drop the acorns as they stopped to briefly look back at the house. Two men and a young woman.

Why had they run away from the place? Watch this space.

    Lanhydrock penny wart 6

Penny Wart growing on a crevice in the Oak tree.

How often do we see growths in trees? Often from ferns to grasses but rarely these. Mushrooms and fungi, also grow on trees, and some are edible.

Then there is birds nest, squirrels nest and insects and vertebrae that live in and on trees.

Blue bells in our garden 2009

    Bluebells in the woodland

    Lanhydrock 10

Dead Wood In Front the Beech Trees

So we measured with tape measures the girth of the trees, dead ones too. We noted if there were holes, growths, dead wood in crowns and animal or insect life.

The group got on very well and we learnt a lot in this relaxed atmosphere. You can measure trees by the span of your hug. Either measure your hug palm to palm before you go out and about or when you get home, but a measure is best.

    Lanhydrock 3

    Lanhydrock5

The first references to measuring trees have been found from 1630. John Evelyn described many trees for the first time in print in 1664. Europe has less ancient trees than the whole of England. We need to protect our trees. The National trust and The Woodland Trust are working together to achieve this, by keeping records of our trees. Trees with stories , folklore and more as well as the location they are found . I know like me there are many who would love to take part in helping record trees. So if you are interested contact 01208 265276 or email loveday.jenkin@nationaltrust.org.uk

    Lanhydrock8 Lanhydrock group of tress

In the afternoon we explored photography with the co author Edward Parker of The Heritage Trees book completed this year. Edward had a lot of knowledge to share and with wit and accuracy. The outside demonstration was over to quickly as we all enjoyed it so much. Edward is the man with the brown bag in the picture above.

An interesting talk on the grounds of Lanhydrock were next on the agenda and again it was most interesting and relevant to the day. Followed by maps of old and those more recent and how many trees were still with us from times gone by. Being local and visited Lanhydrock all my life this was most interesting. As was the avenue of trees and how they have changed and how they were originally.Another useful site is:-

    ath@woodland-trust.org.uk

I cannot help but be enthusiastic about this project. I have loved trees always. What better way to enjoy them but to learn more about them and save the planet.

Favourite Walks in Cornwall.................. Black Head to Pentewan Along the Cliff Path

Pentewan view with clouds over the sea

It was a dull start to a lovely day. You could feel spring in the air as I was doing my ironing, catching up before we set off to Black head near Porthbean in St.Austell to go to Pentewan over the cliff pathway. a walk I have done many times in my life. From a young girl through to my teens and then when I had the family young to now. In honesty I had avoided it for a while as it is one of the most difficult cliff walks around our area. Long and up hill and down dilly. Exhausting when you are twenty let alone fifty something.

pentewan walk beach with sea weed in pattern at tide line.

It is however worth it. As you can see from the above photo, there are many little lovely bays and views to enjoy along the way. I am very used to walking. It is something I do on a regular basis, but this walk needs to be done when you are doing nothing else and having a relaxing day. Well. There we were, tracking along the pathway and enjoying the views and the flora. The cows that are about half way along have been there as a heard for many years. I did notice that this year they were more young ones than I remembered from before. Though I thought about the effect foot and mouth must have had on the farmers.

    Pentewan walk cattle in field

We met numerous people along our way. Several different nationalities in fact, Chinese, German, English and Dutch. Some were in groups and stopped for a chat. There was more mud on the ground than any of us expected as the weather had ben dry. the weather also supervised us by warming up and being sunny. In fact it was quite hot and the coat came off and was stuffed into the ruck sack. half way and we stopped for late lunch. I had a Cornish pasty and my husband had sandwiches. flask of tea and a rest much needed.

I called it ,year of the Sunflower and so did Gardeners World, To my delight

    Sunflower close up

I called it year of the Sunflowers

Each year I grow loads of my own seedlings for my garden. Both flowers and vegetables. Not forgetting my tree collection. Last year when it rained and rained most of the summer, the worst for living memory I think, I had the joy of the Sunflowers in my garden when it eventually settled down and autumn had arrived.

The birds that visit my garden are well looked aftered as my husband and I feed them each days with tempting tit bits.

The seeds of the Sunflowers were a speciality to them.

So as February looked mild this year I began planting my Sunflowers for the autumn delight of colour and for the birds. From the tall over six foot sort that are out in the garden now gathering height and strength to the dwarf varieties I purchased at the plant center, the seeds that is. I had hoped for the white variety to grow but nothing happened and I have loads of pots of the plants in my two greenhouses all ready to plant out in the May bank holiday. All being well we don't go car boot selling. I have such a lot to get rid of.

I sat down one evening relaxing to a bit of T.V and low and behold , could not believe my ears when one of the presenters of the programme said , I am having this year as the year of the sunflower. Had they been reading my mind?

So here we are some are already over eighteen inches high, and now I don't know what that is in centimetres , as I am still in feet and inches and most likely always will be.

The weather has already thrown hail and wind at my lovely plants , even though some are carefully tucked away in the border.

I am looking forward to their beautiful flowers when they come later in the year. Brightening up the borders when most varieties have been and gone.

I am glad it is year of the sunflower , but don't forget all the others, from the flowering bulbs of spring to the sweet peas of summer.

Flag Iris, Peony, Lilac, Rose, Herbs, Broad bean, Cabbage, For - Get - Not, Daisy,  Stinging Nettle, Dandelion, Geranium, The Climbers, Apple Blossom, Strawberry, Pear, Tree Peony, Honeysuckle.

The list goes on as I have been collecting a very long time now and just got a plant of white violet I never even knew existed.

I now have pale violet, Dark violet, Pink violet and this new white.

Bees love our garden as do butterflies and hover flies and next doors cat, who we love to bits.

If you have a small spot or a big huge one , lets make it year of the Sunflower and see how high is yours.

The Day is Young and ................................

The day is young and the first sound I am aware of of is my husband breathing next to me and outside the train passing by at Holmbush, sounds it's hooter. It indicates rain is on the way as in dry weather  you don't hear the train hooter. I then open my front door and let the morning in, today it is quiet and still. I am really early, my normal time but it is just six thirty. Birds are busy building their nest and the sound of their singing gives me a lovely welcome as I walk around the garden.

I take the bird food around tot he table and as I move away, the flutter of tiny wings of the Robin sounds as he lands on the table beside me. I dare not move as I love to see him and we say good morning., to each other. As the Robin leaves he regular Blackbird lands to enjoy his raisins and his mate follows. was that a morning hello in that chirp?

I wander down to my green house and open the door, another sound through the quiet of the day. I check the plants have survived the dip of temperature of the previous night.

Particularly as I have been coaxing some courgette plants to grow since replanting them a few days ago.

A child's voice comes through the air, neighbours children getting ready for the early school start. The squawk of next doors Parrot, but that could be as I know it is there. We have a few neighbours who have Parrots.

Then a  dog barks from the row of houses behind ours.

I glance at the bird bath that needs filling with water and see a Wren bathing happily . I get a jug of water and pour it into the bird bath , filling it up fresh and ready for the next visitor.

A cat friend joins me on my early jobs and , tail up, and following me back in the bungalow for the morning ritual of ear tickling and hello's.

I love the start to the day. I think we all have our routines. One way or another. The cat jumps onto the settee and has a cuddle. A purr emits from him. Heaven.

As a Sound Healer As well As A Spiritual Healer

I was asked by St.Austell's Spiritualist Center to give a talk on my sound - healing and singing bowls. As a sensitive person and young woman I was very aware of sounds and how they affected me , let alone the rest of the population. Strange books became part of my private library including a book on the effects of sound on matter. Cynamics, that was  written and explored by a German scientist many moons ago, and is still of interest to many of us who know a little or a lot about sound.

I like to think that over the years my knowledge has increased many times fold since the beginning of my journey with sound.

In fact I know it has.

I have seen sound change the healing process when some times it seems that not a lot is happening. I get puzzles just like anyone working with the health of mind , body, and spirit. I do know that all things are able to heal, with the right healing and help.

For instance I have had a young lady who has had many mental health issues after drug abuse. She has been with me for many years and over that time has found the healing and sound healing has helped her move forward in her life. More than anything else she has tried. Her words not mine. Though I have watched her improve gradually, until she is now able to live in her own home, hold down a job, and have good friends and a relationship once more. Pretty fabulous when a shell of a woman came to me several years ago now. I must add that she always wanted to get well.

Positive thoughts also helps and healing on a regular basis developes the healing within the seeker, bringing balance of mind , body and spirit.

Sometimes during a  time in our lives we need the support of a healer , to enhance our well being. When I was younger I received healing for health issues that could not be helped by the medical profession. A skin complaint. Healing got to the core of it and , hey presto, it went and never came back.

I have also had several guides working  with me in the fashion of spiritual surgery, different from psychic surgery, as it works on higher levels and often through the eutheric bodies. My guides have shown me, at times,

The eutheric energies opening up and spirit hands going in and removing something. My clients have told me they have felt as though they have had an operation. Especially if they have experienced an earthly one.

At times marks have been seen on the body where the problem has been and then gone. Strange but true.

I always say a prayer for each client that comes to me, asking for the right kind of help that they need. The healing session then takes place. This usually takes between half an hour to an hour. Sometimes less or more time is needed.

I have been a member of Duchy Healers and British Alliance of Healers for many years. I also teach techniques for getting the best from healing energies.

Covering many aspects of healing, including sound, spiritual, code of conduct, colour, crystal, and magnetic.

Healing in it's many forms have been part of generations of my family for centauries and there are other famous healers in my family.

Some of my guides use my voice as I sing an OM type sound to complete a healing session. Many of my clients have been amazed at feelings from the sounds or colours they have seen when their eyes were closed during the session. It has a holy sound experience or often expressed as sacred sound. Which I think is a nice way of expressing this sound, and the sound of the singing bowls, rain stick, voice, and bells, that are often used at some point during a healing session.

So you can join me Wednesday April 15th in St.Austell for a sound healing evening. Where.....? St.Austell Church of Enlightenment , at the top of station hill. You cant miss it. see you there for 7.15pm. It begins at 7.30pm. Admission £2.

Sounds Your Body Makes .................. Inspired by a talk on Wednesday evening being given in St.Austell

From the explosion of a sneeze

To the explosion of a fart

From the waterfalls of your pees

To the fabulous rhythms of your heart

From the gurgling of your tummy

To the mastering of your singing voice

From the sounds you make whilst in Mummy

To the clicking of the tongue moist

    From noses that whistle

    To noses that snore

    From people who  release spittle

And I am sure there are more

    The stomping of feet

From people who are normally calm

    To hitting a drum

With my hand, with the palm

    Our Bodies are beautiful

    No where near understood

And was that the sound of laughter

    Or have I been Misunderstood

Middle top , is a picture of Duloe Stone circle, one of the smallest stone circles of the world. The energies make up for that and you can hire some special time with me to help you explore the stones and their energies.

Left top picture is showing some of my clients enjoying exploring the St.Austell brewery at a evening event. I hold several events during the year, including a meditation once a month at Par.

Centre left, is geese at par beach where you can enjoy feeding the birds and walk along the beach , and over the cliff paths. In summer it is safe waters to bathe.

Center picture our lovely author Justine Picardie who not only wrote the book Daphne but also writes for the Sunday Telegraph and Vogue magazine. I met her at Port Elliot when she was visiting her friend Lady Elliot. During her discussion on the day on Rebecca written by Du Maurier, I suggested that we could look at some of Daphne's writing as that of a medium. It made for interesting thinking. However I have always found Daphne's work that way. Take The Loving spirit book for instance. Well go on ....read it and see for your self.

Left , middle picture is a boat on the horizon at Porthbean beach, another beach very close to Circle of Friends. Plus a favourite of mine.

Bottom left is , a town cryer amongst fellow town cryers at the honey festival. It was a mixed day weather wise and last year the bees were struggling to produce any honey as it was such a bad year. Plus a new disease hit them which also was in France. lets help our bees as much as we can.

My husband and Jamie Reed at Atlantic radio station in Cornwall. A lot of stations have an open day in Cornwall when anyone can go and see what goes on. Interesting .

Lastly the bottom right picture shows more scenes of The Alice in wonderland shooting at Charlestown, near St.Austell. I had the previlage of getting some photos that was not available in normality.

So here we are some exciting things that happen in Cornwall during the year, and of course there are many more. Whatever your personal interest we will do our best to let you know what is going on.

    Talk at our center

It is always interesting to see friends display their talents and one of my dear friends who has been part of my closed circle for many years , Keith, gave a talk at our ceter last evening. He ,like me, enjoys art . The audience was thrilled and they were all relaxed as he demontrated his skills.

It was my pleasure to introduce him, and give the opening meditation , that was chanelled by my guides as always.

several people spoke to me after the event and expressed their joy , of the uplifting meditation that was given.

The figure on the right side of the picture is Kieth but as he moved it looked as though the camera was saying we were receiving a demonstration by a spirit. Which of course is what we all are, inside our earthly bodies. Though really he did not move that quick, and funny things do happen to cameras when you are amongst like minded friends. the other picture I took only minutes apart was quite normal.

    Pentewan village over the years.

As I have known Pentewan, as a local for may years it has an immense sense of happy times. To begin from the 1950's as a young girl visiting the beach and harbour, in the summer and the spring in particular. A drink of pop and a packet of crisp with my sister sitting with me and my Mum and Dad.My legs swinging on the outside seats as they were not long enough to reach the ground.

Later the same place with different people as I grew up and enjoyed some of my courting years meals there. Then a group of us met up and sat outside in the evening summer sun. Drinking gin and tonic before having a meal.

At one time I worked in the community looking after the elderly and one of my patients was in the square of Pentewan. It was around this time that I sang carols in the square after my work had been done. A lovely atmosphere.

Right up to date with my Yorkshire family staying in the caravans at the beach, and joining them for an evening at the club house.

I have also worked the August festival there, giving readings and then later in the day enjoying the atmosphere of open air music.

The fireworks going off at the end of the evening. Friends come along without needing a phone call. It is just part of our yearly calendar. As we all meet up like magic.

    Map image

Further back in history the village of Pentewan had three public houses, Ship Inn that is still here today, The Square , and Jolly Sailor have been long gone but not forgotten. In fact the small gift shop was where one of the old pubs had been then.

There was the Pentewan block and sand works that made blocks for local buildings. It took four men to make a batch of blocks. About a hundred were made in a day.

The Pentewan railway is long disappeared but when it was up and running it was something to be proud of. As far as I know there were not many such railways in this area. It ran from Pentewan to St.Austell transporting clay and coal for many years. In the summer it was seen that at times passengers were taken up and down in trucks that were cleaned out , it was usually a Sunday treat.

The harbour has seen many a ship laden with clay and coal among other merchandise.

Pentewan is also well known for the quarry at Polrudden, with it's elvan - type stone, which is harder than granite, to work.

It was used for churches, and the such. Some of this stone went to Lostwithiel by boat. Also stone went to St.Antony house near Plymouth. Then repairs for the St.Austell parish Church were done with this stone.

Walks from Trewiddle to Pentewan are still very lovely. The pathway runs alongside the river that at one time was known as the white river due to china clay spillage running into it. Today of course none of that is allowed and the plant and bird life shows the benefits of it's clarity. I have walked that pathway many times, and still I enjoy the natural world there including an owl I have seen many times on walking back after a pint in the pub.

Saw our new neighbour , Dawn French at Par Beach in Cornwall

    Copy of PICT0002

I know how lucky I am to have several beaches just a spit away from where I live, believe me. Porthbean, Charelestown, Crinnis, and Par just to name a few that a scattered along the coast of St.Austell Bay.

It was one of those days when I had been busy in the house. The clouds were drooping around the place and you could not see clearly out the window. Yet some thing said , lets go out and feed the birds down Par.

I ventured to my husbands workshop to se if he could join me. Why not he muttered and we were soon on our way with a flask of tea and some biscuits. Seed and bread for the birds.

We enjoyed a walk across Par beach and fed the birds. The skies were still grey but there were several people on the beach.  Sand dunes that were not there in the 1970's have spread over the beach which is quite a short period of time of such changes. There was a lot of seaweed at shore level and I collected some pieces of wood, and chalk, as well as shells, to take home. The seaweed is of course great for the garden and i wished i had brought a couple of bags with me for some. Maybe next time.

As we walked from one end of the beach to the other we had not seen our new neighbour in Fowey, with her little scottie dog.snow with the dog

Though as we sat in the car park having our cuppa, we spotted a lady just about to get in her car, we thought we knew.

My husband put his window down, And said, "Tis you , isnt it? Dawn French smiled and replied, " Maybe". It was so funny we laughed all the way home, as I expect Dawn did. BUT I wondered if she knew it was a Yorkshire man saying a sentance that was so Cornish.

What a lovely lady. We look forward to seeing her and her husband agin one day. Next time maybe you would join us for a cuppa  Dawn.

Been to the new film center ............... St.Austell

Hello world, it has been a long time since I have been drawn to go to the pictures to see a film. So much violence being produced. I am sure it has an effect on society. However , last evening my husband and I enjoyed the new Young Victoria film. Yes we both enjoyed it.

I first heard of the film when reading the Sunday papers. Then Fergie was talking about it on a T.V program , if I remember correctly.

The new St.Austell film center had not had a visit from me just yet. So here we were.

The center is quite something for our town , having enjoyed the 1920's building all my life. I thought right away this new place was really nice and the seats are comfortable.( Even though I had felt very sad to see the old film center go.) Which is more than I can say for the hall for Cornwall seating.

I also had a lot of spiritual activity around me and at one point felt that I could not breathe. Though the air in the place was not fresh , it was like sitting in a box. Air conditioning or not we all need fresh air.

The sound was perfect, and it was enveloping you, bringing you right into the atmosphere of the film.

The film began telling you the story of the young queens childhood. Then it developed into a spectacular historical film. The actors were just right, the costumes were out of this world. The locations were brilliant etc etc. I am not going to take away the thrill of going to see this film but even the ending was done with class and perfection. We even had a tear or two as the story evolved. A privileged life yes but how many of us consider the responsibility of it all.

    Well done Fergie,

Lets hope you do some more film producing,

this is a must to go see.

Meditation in The Ship Inn of Par ----------- Next date April 1st 2009 7pm - 9pm

    Baker band Orbs from America

     normal_LoveLight190

Baker Band America in concert .............. see the orbs ..... spirit energies love music.

The first meditation evening at The Ship Inn of Par took place this week. The little room above the bar is very tranquil, and all who attended agreed it was a lovely space . I was greeted by my friends/customers  who had been to previous events of mine and this was a lovely surprise. Also an old friend who has just come back from Egypt ( a great reflexologist,  back on the circuit now)was my power house, and door keeper, for the evening.

I took with me some of my colour cards to share. It leaves everyone feeling different about greeting cards. The atmosphere of the cards give a great deal of emotion to the receiver and I never cease to be amazed as to how a picture can affect someone. The exercise was to reflect on visualisation meditation and the feelings from pictures. A creative mind can always think of a scene that can be associated with an emotion. Of course we are not all creative so some of us need a helping hand.

The candle was lit at the beginning of the session, to create a spiritual link with the group from earth plane to spirit plane . In love , light and respect to all drawing near from our guides and loved ones to the spirit  landlady of the past who sat with us all evening. When I entered the room on the evening I saw the past landlady  , who frequents this space, and wondered what she would think of what was going to occur in what was her front room . I then connected with her and asked her if she would like to join me for the evening and once a month when we all enjoyed a meditation in her past home. She was quite happy and the atmosphere changed after the communication. Before then it was a little strained ,then I saw her and realised what was happening.

    February 2007 034

Group working with me, learning how to dowse, on the event, Brewery St.Austell.

I explained about meditation to the group that had gathered. There was one or two that had not meditated before, and of course these sessions are for everyone from beginners to accomplished. I then got my group to relax by taking their mind energy to each part of the body starting with their feet, tightening their muscles and then relaxing them right through to the head. At this point the body is relaxed but the mind still needs to be let free of everyday things. My group were very relaxed.

All my meditations are channeled by my guide , Running Water, who has always been with me for as long as I can remember. He is American Indian and I have 'seen' him on several occasions. I have other guides but he is my main one.

The group were led into a third eye meditation cleansing and clearing all unwanted thoughts and bringing about a state of euphoria . Minds cleared we proceeded to explore the white light and 'see' our guides as they presented themselves. The room was full of angelic beings surroundi8ng the newly formed group and even those who had never meditated felt their presence. Quite an experience.

Brewery with gayle Force by Stacey

Working with a group in the grain room at the St.Austell Brewery, during an audience evening. See the orb floating beside me. I had a regular visitor when I worked there. This photo shows part of the group I was working with. I am in the floral dress.

On talking after the meditation it was clear everyone enjoyed the experience. A calm atmosphere filled the room and we entered the second channeled meditation. I was given the colours of the solar plexus. The energy of yellows and buttercup yellow in particular. A vibrant yellow to help energise the feeling center of the body and mind. many people get out of balance with the solar plexus and find that their lives are taking the wrong direction. Or that they are holding on to old emotions that are no longer relevant to their lives. Our mind energy entered a seep space far deeper than I had expected the newly formed group to enter, but it was no problem.

Again after the meditation people spoke about how they felt and it was interesting to see how they all looked  now as to when they first came into the room. Faces tell us a lot. Not just the smiles but how the colour of the complexion is and how relaxed they look.

There had been opening prayer and now it was time for closing prayer. these are short prayers ,one for protection and the other for thanks , to the unseen friends to join us. Which of course they do as a group of spiritual people working together will attract those who like to be near us. Friends and family, guides and the buildings spirits.

I work in love, light, respect and honesty. To me it is the only way. My host of the premises is Pauline and her husband Chris Giles, owners of the public house who have a varied entertainment program and some of the best meals in the area, especially the Sunday Roast. Though two of my group members recommended the meal they had enjoyed on the evening before the meditation.

    See you next meeting  ................

    March 02

    Radio St.Austell Bay .......................... March 2009

The morning sun was glistening through the clouds this morning as I pulled up in the car outside the radio station.. It was quite quiet as I entered the doors into the room before the studio. Where was everyone? Found them. There was the group of early breakfast show guest and presenters chattering away before the nine o clock news.

Today I had been taken back to my late teen age years when I had just left school and begun work for

Sydney Grose the fore street shop where I was first employed as a shop assistant and then window dresser.

The shop had taken me on as an apprentice of retail. I was to learn , how to serve a customer, keep the store tidy, and begin window dressing. As the window dresser left suddenly , I became the window dresser for six months without someone to teach me other than my boss.

It was during this time that  I saw the ghost of Sydney Grose's shop in the attic part of the store where all the window dressers models were kept and stock for the shop. There were loads of little cupboards and places one of the staff could have hidden and jumped out on an apprentice but this was not the case. A small figure of a woman in a black looking dress drifted across the room and went towards the window. She then disappeared, as I watched in shock. It happened several times before I decided I was not going up there again. Of course I had to say why as it was part of my job to frequent the room.

When I had the opportunity to move shops I did. To Broads of St.Austell who were almost next door to Sydney Grose.

I continued my window dressing and got paid an extra fifty pence a week , which in the 1970's was quite a rise for a young girl . I continued my apprenticing and stayed there for about five years until I married and wanted to change my position in retailing.

It was a few years I really enjoyed, working for the Morgan's of St.Austell, who were good bosses. Here I often saw spirit people during my work, and sensed sprit around some of the staff. I often knew when some ones relatives were going to die. Not that it is the sort of thing one talks about. I just had a knowing. Or at least that is what many called the gifts, others said I was highly strung. Which sounded insulting as they said it.

Then there was the time that after I had dressed a window , the very next day when I looked at it, it had all been changed and everyone swore they had nothing to do it at all. Which was obvious really, as I has felt a presence all day that day. It was near when I had my Gran was ill and she died at the local hospital. Had she come back to let me know she was alright? She had always said she would . I have seen her several times since and she has communicated through friends of mine to me and my Mother.

The St.Austell street also has ghostly beings at different times of the year. sometimes during the day other times in the evenings. Spirit horse and carts. People in gone by clothes who still walk up and down the street as they saw it. There have been many changes. Today where Broads of St.Austell stood for over a hundred years in business is where we now have New Look . Then where Sydney Grose stood we have Boots the Chemist. Strange old world .

Our town is receiving big changes at the moment and many will be completed this year. I wonder what our ghostly beings will make of it then.

The White Hart Hotel has it's own , White Lady ghostly figure and The Seven Stars public house has been known to hear ghostly activity over the years. the right opposite there where there is now the music shop is a spirit that loves cleaning up the flat above the shop. When I worked there , years ago when it was busy fingers dress fabric shop, there were often noises on a Saturday of cleaning going on. Was the flat occupied? No. The manager of the shop had the keys and no one, no one had been in the flat for two years at that time. The outside loo of the shop also had spirit activity.. There were times you had your hair pulled and just felt a presence. I wander if people still do.

I have been told of recent of spirit activity on Beech Road, of children and adults who haunt the houses. Not surprisingly as this has been a strange street over the years with several happenings which could well of caused unrest in those who have passed on.

So St.Austell town has a few stories to tell and I for one would be happy to hear from anyone who has a tale to tell. Come on write to me or send me an e mail. Thanks.

Weddings, Commitment Ceremonies, Naming Ceremonies, and Funerals

It has long been drawn to my attention that there is and has been for quite a while a need for spiritual services of like minded. Sometimes non denominational. These ceremonies have been part of my life for several years now. It all began with commitment ceremonies when a couple decided not to marry at that point in their lives but wanted something to say they were committed to each other. It was very lovely. They hired a local hotel and arranged their guest. It was very like a wedding , but without the legal bits. People gathered afterwards for the reception, outside and in. The service had been very special and I had written a piece especially for the couple. It included the exchange of rings and of words of love and commitment to each other. It sealed their relationship and a few years down the line when they felt it was right for them they got married.

Light energies from South Africa, wedding of michael and Carla from Diana Coopers collection.

Note the spiritual energy greeting the happy couple, often their loved ones from spirit joining in on the day.

Of course not all couples continue through to get married some like to leave things there , and that is fine.

Same sex couples also like to have commitment ceremonies and again it is a service I like to prepare especially for that couple. Each couple will have special memories of their day.

I can arrange  the place for your occasion including a special church  that has been part of my life for over thirty years.

Sensitive photographers, talented wedding stationary artist suppliers, spiritual film makers, etc etc.

Funeral services also cover animal services. You visit me not the other way around. This is purpose as I feel , through my own experiences of losing loved ones, that the first visit outside the home after a loss is often a traumatic one, and it can ease you through to the funeral time a little easier.

I can well remember on one of my losses how difficult it was for me to even walk down the road to my dear friend and neighbour, just a few doors away.

Naming ceremonies, are now often given like a christening. My American Indian guide has drawn me to the American Indian naming ceremonies, as a for instance. What a lovely service to give. It was only yesterday that I met a lady who does the most beautiful cards for such services.

    Baby Angel LITTLE ANGEL.............................AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Opening a center or residing in a new house/home? Then you may like a blessing ceremony. A cleansing and a gathering of friends /group to celebrate this building.

I often think about one I attended a few years ago. A lovely young man had just arrived in Cornwall and found a new home. He felt he wanted to celebrate his new beginnings here.

When he phoned he asked if my husband and I would stay for lunch. The ceremony took place in January just after Christmas celebrations had come to a holt. The day began with breakfast with him and a Jacuzzi in the back garden. Guest arrived for the ceremony and we had a wonderful time. Everyone joined hands together for opening prayer and photos were being taken , and orbs were found in them.

The Guest were all interested in the service that I had especially written for this man, who before we had met over the ceremony had only been some - one we had known while out walking the dog. He is still amongst our  close circle of friends today. The atmosphere in his house changed after the ceremony. It was a happy place and he felt all that came to visit felt it and many said so. It had a light energetic feeling. Full of love. Maybe all dwellings should have a ceremony to life energies and cleanse the space. Lunch was fabulous , we had the company of twenty people too. The air was full of chatter and laughter and friendship and love.

This year I begin my journey of weddings. I have got the honour of marrying my friends. They have been together for about fifteen years. One day the bride to be said, "Gayle will you marry us"?

It will be in the early summer. Already we have had a lot to arrange. It is exciting. I love weddings. Don't you?

From booking the church to writing that special ceremony to having the registrar with us, the bans read. The bridesmaids dresses, the photographer, the reception. They both are excited and planning their part in the day.

It can of course be in most places of your choice today. The wedding. Hotels or even an out side event. Though we have to remember the British weather.

So whatever the occasion,  I assure you I will always keep it personal to you. Each of us are as individual as snowflakes.

My home is near Charlestown and I often walk to the port from here. Today the sun illuminated a patch on the horizon, out in the bay. With it being February most people don't expect the chance to take a breath of fresh air ,and see the tall ships of Charlestown. I sat quietly watching the sights , and the white doves that were left behind after filming had commenced here a few years ago, were already collecting twigs in their beaks for their nest. An early spring feeling in the air. Other wild birds were also courting and enjoying the sun, with some resting on the bow of the ship of The Earl of Pembroke or Kasklot of Bristol. Both ships were resting in the harbour completely unaware of such happenings. The sounds of the birds cooing was broken only by the surf hitting the harbour walls, and the chatter of people passing by. School children on holiday in the half term holiday and parents taking the chance for a break after the busyness of the last Christmas holiday.

Charlestown has a peace and tranquility that one would expect from a small fishing port in Cornwall, but it has so much more to offer. As I eyed up the ships ropes and decks , I could see that it was so good to an artist ready to begin an adventure on painting or drawing ships. Then I drifted to some of my own pastel drawings I had done just recently. I must bring my sketch pad down here soon, very soon. The shapes of the ropes dangling on the deck caught my imagination, as the sun filtered through the clouds. Lovely curves.

The figure head of the ship was all in white and beautifully carved , I thought I would love a picture of her and to know the story behind this carving.

My husband was working in the local hotel this week repairing some of the upholstery there. That was how I was here today. I am so glad that I made the effort and went to meet him. It has been such a lovely day here. Later I planted my onion bulbs in my garden at home and picked in dry washing from this morning. How great it is to get out and about after the long winter here this year. Soon new walks to explore and I feel a good summer to come.

Ship Inn of Par in Cornwall, England

SHIP INN OF PAR IN CORNWALL

The ship In of Par was host to my audience on February 13th. We had a most interesting evening with many spiritual orbs being captured on cameras. These will be shared as soon as I get them transfered to me from my audience's camera's. Some of the faces within the orbs were so very clear.
Orb energies are of course spirit visitors. Some have forgotten how to materialse in the form they were here on the earth plane or merely do not have the energy to do so. My spirit communicator said that the earth plane energy is often to heavy for many spirits to communicate or visit loved ones for long.
So we are very fortunate that they make the effort to show themselves to us at all.
Some appear looking like a comet floating across the camera photo, and they are a bit like busy people here.
The evening was full of spiritual happenings including a ballon,  purposely put in the center of the group, that moved as we were in the seance, not quite floating but it definately moved.
Trigger objects were also put around the room.
Many of the audience reported feeling cold or hot . Of being touched by unseen hands . Heat on a ladies face and a feeling of a beard appearing on her face.
Excitement came into the atmosphere as several spirits gave their names to me and their energies took me to different parts of the room, to where they belonged to those in the audience.
The landlady's spirit of the 1970's who I had made contact with on a previous occasion, joined with us and again was telling of how she nursed her husband in the very room we were standing in because it was where they had lived  when they ran the pub. There had been a fire picked up in the room, but as yet we have no evidence of that.
The energies os spirit took us back to when the place had ben part of farming land and to when the sea had indeed  ebbed and flowed as the tide moved ver near the buildings space. we have a cliff facing that is actually just behind the public house. Along with one of the pathways of the saints way.
Two seances were shared with the audience and I concluded the evening with audience readings.
I am intereted in any history anyone might know of the public house and surounding area.
i will be delighted to hear from anyone who can send me pictures from the evening. thank you.

    Working with Radio

    Smile Radio St.Austell Bay ............... wwwrsab.org ............... 01726 65566 .......105.6 FM

Greetings to all. Radio St.Austell bay is now just over one year old. Celebrations took place at St.Austell Rugby Club. Many of the volunteers got together to enjoy an evening out chatting and listening to the locl band music provided.
Each first Monday of the month on The Breakfast Show, I will be talking about different aspects of my work as a clairvoyant, medium and healer. Showing how this is a way of life , working with spirit guides and helpers.
It really is not that abnormal and those who work with spirit have not always choosen to do so.
There will be stories about happenings in the St.Austell area and places of interest where you the listener can visit and feel vibrational energies for your self. Throughout the year I am available to take you or your group to many of these places for a small charge. It can give you a chance to meditate  and explore the place with a qualified medium, which would be a good experience and a learning on spiritual matters.
One such place is the top of Trethurgy where on many occasions I have led a group around the walk were the stones are. Here you may feel the energies of ley lines. So powerful that you can actually get a sensation like a small electric shock. Though rest assured it wont harm you. the there is the circle of stones. When a group of stones have been laid , it is inevitable that they create an energy. These are stones I am having great difficulty in finding more iformation about. I would love to know when they were put there but my research has not given me any more information. So if you have and information I would really like to know.
Water energy often creates the right ambiance for a meditation, and there is  plenty of that here. With seating created by our local authorities.
It is said that the St.Michael line runs through here and that is no suprise as the feeling here is so healing.
Keep an eye on my diary and there will be a chance as the weather gets better to join me on a walk here. A gentle half a day walk and experience.
The studio of the radio station lends itself to communication vibrational energies and it is being enhanced each week by all our radio friends, with many subjects debated and enjoyed, amongst the daily music.
Last month I talked about the long standing stone of Penrice. I have lived in St.Austell all my life and a neighbour told me about the standing stone. Run around it seven times she said and hear the devils footsteps.
Just for fun and with anticipation my husband and I ran around the stone with the amusement of onlookers across the way. Did we hear the devils footsteps? No but I guess like us he heard our hearts beating like mad after all that running around, especially as neither of us is twenty anymore. Laugh? Did I laugh.
Anyway, there are ancient barrows under the ground from most likely the bronze age. It is not known why the stone was put here and it would have taken as many as thirty or more men to move it.
Some say it is the devils walki8ng stick. Strange how the devil keeps coming up with this one. maybe we should have a moonlight visit and amass meditation to feel the errie vibrations .
It is strange but the nearset granite sourse is about a mile away, and this great piece would still have taken some shifting, but what if the piece was just underthe ground here or even just thrown by th earths forces back in time and there it was. Where oh where has imagination gone? I have written about it, taken photos and will be taking my pastels out and sketching very soon. maybe you would like to join me.
The shape of this giant is like a Mother standing with her child Think mary and jesus and you will get the outline. Yes you will honestly.
Also around my travels locally I get invited to investigate some of the areas public houses to see what is there. Even some people who have never experienced ghostly goings on's, seem to get shapes and mist etc in pubs. Why you may ask.
Laughter, music, chattering and movement of so many earthly souls can attract spirit souls to them. A love of a place where they have frequented while here can also be part of the answer. A murder. A love story. All sorts.
You will hear me once a month on the breakfast show on St.Austell radio, between 9am - 10am. You can phone in and ask me questions while on air. I look forward to hearing from you.

NEW OPEN CIRCLE MEDITATION EVENING , SHIP INN AT PAR IN CORNWALL

    ship Inn Par Cornwall

FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH FROM MARCH 4TH 2009 ============ PLEASE CHECK BEFORE ARRIVAL THAT IT IS ON

A new meditation evening , once a month at the Ship Inn at Par in Cornwall. All welcome from beginners to accomplished to work with me, Gayle Force . In a atmosphere of love and friendship. Bring a friend, or come along on your own and make friends. The purpose of this group is to relax, unwind and enjoy meditation. To help our well being. In a world full of stress and so many viruses we have  to fight we need to have our mind, body and spirit balanced. Through that balance we can achieve so much, including good health.

Then there is the spiritual connection. How we find a closeness with our own guides and loved ones in the spirit realms.

Techniques for relaxing to get you into the mood of meditation. Teaching of visualization, silent, healing and many more meditative ways that you can easily learn over time. Even singing bowl meditations. A deep level of consciousness. Do we sit, lie or stand? Come along and learn for yourself. There is such a thing as a walking meditation.Want to know more?

Meditation is the key to a healthy mind , body and spirit. It  had been known to lower blood pressure. It helps in stressful situations. The key to quiet. The key to healing, of self and others. The key to spiritual connections.

The Ship Inn lends itself to these meetings in a lovely room above the bar area. Where there is plenty of breathing space. I have worked here before and found the atmosphere to be friendly, happy and creative. The owners are old friends of mine, Pauline and Chris Giles. When I lived at Par in the 1970,S we were neighbours. A home from home atmosphere.

This is a place where you can get a meal, enjoy a drink and now have a meditation. So weather you are a beginner or an accomplished meditate, come along a join me. Due to present climate I am offering the two hour session for the price of £5 per person. So this is your chance to get away from everyday  life and relax and unwind, with no phones going or interruptions. Just your meditative state. The meditations last from ten minutes to half an hour and there is plenty of time to talk and ask questions on spiritual matters during the evening. There will be time to say , how you feel in the meditation. It is something we can all do, believe me, we have often just forgotten, how.

    What , Snow in Cornwall

From misty mornings and snow mornings, the weather this week has certainly been varied. The cold wind left us today and there was a calm feeling in the air as i walked around the park land today. This is a walk I have done for many years now and often see friends , that I have made on a regular basis. My husband was at home today , as we are putting the roof on a room ready for more gatherings of groups at our sanctuary.
While he was up on his ladder the phone went and a voice shouted, I just heard a bang.
My husband thought , oh dear I am being to noisey, early in the morning, when he realised it was a call for me.
The phone then went dead and we have no idea who it was. This week has been one of another phone call that said, You do speak to the dead , well dont you? My husband happened to answer this one to. As we answer the phone to whomever is nearest. My wife does he said. the phone went quiet and he heard footsteps running. Then it went dead.
Another phone call said, I want to book a Sunday lunch please. My husband now on a roll said, Can I come too? Only to have the reciever put down. He did ring back and apologise, it just all happened on one day and we had to smile.
They say we are having more snow soon. Peraphs it is the weather changing so much that brought this on , or is it full moon?

I have been aware of my spirit guide running - water for as long as I can remember. For many years though I did not know his name and it never crossed my mind to ask him until I worked with local papers in Cornwall. My work as a medium and healer have taken me to many places in Europe as well as working in England. Having broke world news when I discovered a bottom pinching chef at one of our local public houses, I was invited to be on Brisban Radio in Australia, Ireland , BBC radio one and BBC radio cornwall and more as well as magazines and newspapers.
I do love working with media. I have been on The Weakest Link with the wonderful Anne Robinson. Currently I appear on BBC radio Cornwall, Radio Atlantic Bay, Pirate Fm and the new community radio station Radio St.Austell bay. Soon to be back on BBC Radio One, so listen out once again for Gayle Force and her predictions.
Writing features and columbs for magazines. Including South West Connections.
